We are pleased to welcome Joshua Christman, Assistant Vice President at Walbridge, to our Board of Directors.
Christman brings more than 25 years of construction industry experience, along with a longstanding commitment to leadership, workforce development, and community impact. As Assistant Vice President within Walbridge’s Vehicle Manufacturing Group and a member of the company’s Construction Enterprise Operating Committee, he helps lead strategic initiatives, solve complex challenges, and guide the successful delivery of highly technical projects across the country.
His passion for developing people extends well beyond the workplace.
Christman currently serves as a volunteer college Career Mentor in our Workforce Prep Mentoring Program, helping his student navigate college, career decisions, and the transition into the workforce. He previously served on our Advisory Board and has witnessed firsthand how mentorship and career preparation can change the trajectory of a young person’s life.
“I have seen the impact that Winning Futures has on students and the successes of the people who have gone through the program,” Christman said. “It is amazing to see all the opportunities available to young adults today. In a changing world, young people need life coaching, encouragement, and real-world experiences that will help them become confident, independent leaders. I’m excited to help Winning Futures expand that impact.”
Throughout his career, Christman has earned a reputation as a collaborative leader and problem solver. At Walbridge, he is known for helping resolve complex contractual and operational challenges while driving continuous improvement. His expertise includes strategic planning, contract negotiation, marketing, proposal development, and operational leadership – skills that will strengthen our program and students.
“Joshua has already made a meaningful difference as a volunteer mentor, and we’re excited to welcome him to our Board of Directors,” said Kris Marshall, President and CEO of Winning Futures. “He brings exceptional leadership experience, strategic insight, and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed. His commitment to mentoring, workforce development, and community engagement aligns perfectly with our mission, and we look forward to the impact he will make as a board member.”
We are honored to welcome Joshua Christman to the Board of Directors and look forward to the leadership, expertise, and passion he will bring as the organization continues empowering tomorrow’s workforce.
