Katie Pusz, Marketing Communications Specialist, ImageSoft, Inc.,
Winning Futures Class of 2013

As a student at Warren Mott High School (Warren), Katie struggled to overcome anorexia while trying to figure out what she would do after high school. Her mentor, Ashley Fordyce, school and community relations coordinator at Extra Credit Union, helped empower Katie, building her self-confidence and personal strength, and getting her on a healthy track for setting goals and making good decisions. Katie studied at Wayne State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations. Today she works as a marketing communications specialist at ImageSoft, Inc., enjoying the learning that comes with hands-on experiences while holding on to aspirations of someday owning her own public relations organization.

“Winning Futures empowered me to take control of my life,” said Katie. “I attribute much of my success to the life lessons Winning Futures instilled in me!’”
