Winning Futures recently elected to its board of directors Kelvin B. Squires, CEO of Center Line Electric Inc. in Center Line.
Before acquiring Center Line Electric in 2016, Squires spent 32 years working in the automotive industry, retiring in 2016 from Ford Motor Company as chief engineer, Global Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering. Before joining Ford in 2001 as Lean Manufacturing Manager, he gained 17 years of powertrain experience with Chrysler Corporation, holding various management positions.
The Detroit native received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1982 from Michigan State University and an MBA in 1985 from the University of Rochester’s William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, concentrating in finance, information systems and accounting.
Squires looks forward to helping others through his role on Winning Futures’ board.
“I grew up in a family of seven, and while we did not have a lot of material things, we had Christ and tons of family love. My parents always taught us about helping others anyway we could. Being on the board of Winning Futures allows me to be part of a great organization that focuses on helping others meet their full potential.
