Minority Businessmen Get Plugged In

Minority businessmen from across metro Detroit converged at Wayne State University School of Business Administration to get plugged-in. Thursday, April 30th Winning Futures hosted its second Plug-in Detroit Networking Event. An initiative of Winning Futures, Plug-In Detroit was created to connect minority businessmen with potential opportunities for professional and personal growth and development. The event is also used as a method to help recruit minority male mentors. Plug-in Detroit was sponsored by Wayne State University School of Business Administration, Buffalo Wild Wings and Bagger Dave’s. The event was highlighted with captivating stories from the keynote speaker Greg Kelser. Greg told stories of his road to Michigan State University and the NBA, he used these stories to illustrate the importance of transcendent leadership and transcendent learning. Plug-in Detroit is held twice a year, during spring and fall.
