Manish Mehta, acting global head of the General Motors Business Unit at Yazaki North America, has been elected to our Board of Directors.
“Winning Futures is an impactful way to support Yazaki’s commitment to supporting the communities where we work and live,” said Mehta. “Through its mentoring and Workforce Prep program, we are fostering economic and social development, and ultimately, more sustainable communities.”
Manish joined Yazaki in 2001 as an engineering manager and rose through the ranks holding a diverse array of roles in program management, engineering, and sales. He also served as the director of Asia Pacific Business in China where he strengthened Yazaki’s support of all U.S. original equipment manufacturers.
Prior to joining Yazaki, Manish worked for General Motors as a lead engineer in the Electrical Engineering, Mid-Lux Car group in Flint, MI. He earned a master’s degree in electronics engineering technology from the University of Detroit Mercy, and bachelor’s degree in engineering from the D.Y. Patil College of Engineering in India.
