We are excited to welcome Zahira (Zah) Gonzalvo, SVP, chief information security and privacy officer of Flagstar Bank to our Board of Directors.
“I am looking forward to be part of the Winning Futures board. I would love to increase the pipeline of students interested in technology and cybersecurity” said Zah, “The Workforce Prep program of Winning Futures and mentorship programs are going to be key to keep students engaged and give them the support they will need to be successful in any career they choose in the future.”
Zah joined Flagstar Bank in 2013, and she is currently the Chief Information Security Officer. Zah was also the Leader for Flagstar’s Diversity and Inclusion since its inception in 2016 until 2018, when the Bank won the Mortgage Bankers Association DEI Award and signed the CEO Action for DEI pledge to advance DEI in the workplace. Prior to Flagstar, Zah worked in different supervisory roles in risk and technology for automotive and financial services. Zah serves as a board member of the American Lung Association, Flagstar Foundation, and the Cloud Security Alliance.
