Diversified Restaurant Holdings and eTitle Agency CEOs and SRG Global to receive Sam Cupp Impact Award February 9
WARREN, MI, January 16, 2013 – In honor of our late founder, Sam Cupp, Winning Futures will honor T. Michael Ansley, President/CEO of Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc., Linda Orlans, CEO of eTitle Agency and Warren-based automotive supplier SRG Global with the first Sam Cupp Impact Awards. This award recognizes Ansley’s and Orlans’ success in both business and in their charitable endeavors. Even though Sam Cupp had 28 companies employing over 2,000 individuals, he was most proud of his creation and support of Winning Futures.
“As a successful business owner, Sam Cupp created Winning Futures as a way to impact local youth through mentoring, goal setting, strategic planning, and scholarship programs,” said Winning Futures’ President and CEO Kristina Marshall. “He not only funded the organization, he also worked directly with the students, mentors, and teachers. When he passed away last year, we wanted to pay tribute to his legacy by honoring those whose lives and work reflect the values he lived by. Michael Ansley and Linda Orlans are both shining examples of his dedication to thriving in business and having an impact on the community.”
Michael Ansley opened his first Buffalo Wild Wing (BWW) location in Sterling Heights in 1999, and has since opened a new BWW restaurant in Michigan every year. In the spring of 2004, the company opened its first Florida location and continues to grow in that market. In 2008, the company opened its first Bagger Dave’s, a full-service restaurant and bar in Berkley. In total, Ansley operates 45 restaurants in Michigan, Florida, Illinois and Indiana. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Restaurant Association.
As a dedicated attorney, entrepreneur, public speaker and community leader, Linda Orlans approaches her roles with energy and a desire to deliver as much value as she can to others. A lifelong resident of Michigan, Orlans established Orlans Associates, PC in 1996 with only a few employees. This enterprise has grown to now employing 700 people with 7 expert real estate service companies and law firms that specialize in real property law in several states in the mid-Atlantic region. Orlans Associates, P.C. and the award winning eTitle Agency, Inc. are headquarted in Troy, Michigan.
SRG Global’s corporate presence has extended into six countries over the years, yet they have remained committed to supporting their hometown and its surrounding community by assisting organizations such as Winning Futures. SRG Global has been a significant and valued supporter of the Winning Futures mentoring program since 2002 and has helped many organizations and nonprofits such as Winning Futures that rely on corporate support to achieve their goals and positively impact their communities.
