As a student at Madison High School, Belinda knew what she wanted to do. The only problem was she struggled with procrastination and lacked the proper tools to make her dream a reality. Her mentor, Monica Labe, member of Dickinson Wright, helped her work on SMART goals and creating a strategic five-year plan. Belinda graduated high school in 2017 and went on to get an associate degree in Pre-Science from Ferris State University. Belinda recently transferred to the University of Michigan where she is in her third year as a biomedical engineering major.
“Because of Winning Futures, I am positive that I am fulfilling my destiny, said Belinda. “I am a strong and dedicated young woman who will impact the world through my passions.”
