Winning Futures is excited to welcome another new member to the Board of Directors, Shawn Stafford. Shawn was born and raised in Detroit, and graduated from Michigan State University in 1995. He started his corporate career at Chrysler Corporation while he earned his MBA from the University of Detroit. He founded RESSCO, a commercial real estate investment firm, in 2003. Over the last eleven years he has grown it to be a full service commercial real estate company that specializes in multifamily housing. He has experience in rehabilitating distressed and undervalued real estate. He is active in the Apartment Association of Michigan, the Institute of Real Estate Management, member of Vistage, and member of the Detroit Athletic Club.
Shawn shared why he is excited to be part of Winning Futures’ Board of Directors, “I wanted to become a member of the Winning Futures Board because I understand the impact of having a mentor guide and direct you towards a successful path. I had a mentor in high school that helped me strive for more than I imagined for myself and I am grateful for that. I hope to help Winning Futures continue to grow and make a meaningful contribution to children’s lives.”
