WHAT: Informational breakfast about Winning Futures to recruit mentors and board members for programs in Birmingham, Detroit, Harper Woods, Pontiac, and Warren. Also, volunteers are needed for our June 20th Gregory Kelser Basketball Camp in Detroit. The breakfast is sponsored by Oakland University – Macomb.
Guests will enjoy breakfast while they learn about the ways they can fulfill their desire to impact the community by volunteering as a mentor, leading the organization as a board member, providing resources as a business partner, or investing in youth as a donor. A panel of students will share their experiences and impact with the audience.
WHO: Community members who want to volunteer with and impact children in Birmingham, Detroit, Harper Woods, Pontiac, and Warren.

WHY: Winning Futures makes a difference in the lives of young people who may not otherwise receive the resources they need to prepare for their future. The organization inspires and prepares young people to succeed through life skills programs, scholarship opportunities, and mentoring relationships that focus on character values identification, goal setting and strategic planning. Working with students in middle and high schools throughout metro Detroit, Winning Futures has impacted over 20,000 youth to continue their education and accomplish their career goals.
