Summer Mentoring Opportunities
This summer we will be offering short-term or one-time mentoring opportunities at two locations – Cass Tech High School and Cornerstone – Madison Carver.
Volunteers are needed to work with 5th – 9th grade boys and girls in a structured classroom setting. “Short-Term Mentors” will work with 3-5 students on fun, hands-on activities based around goal setting, positive attitude, and team work. Volunteers will receive a training email to prepare for the class.
The Greg Kelser “Shoot for your Goals” basketball camp will take place at Cass Technical High School this year and our mentors will serve young athletes off the court in the classroom. Those sessions run June 20 th through 24th for one hour in the morning.
Cornerstone Madison Carver will take place on most Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning in May and June.
