Misty C. Evans, MBA – Operations Manager
Misty joined our team in March of 2026 as our Operations Manager. She oversees and executes our internal operations including developing and updating processes, hiring/onboarding, basic technology support, and CRM administration and audits.
A dedicated advocate for youth development and community empowerment, Misty brings with her 17 years of experience in workforce development, program operations, and strategic leadership. She has overseen program tracks, managed contracts, ensured grant compliance, and led efforts to improve operational excellence. Her work has consistently centered on creating meaningful opportunities for young people – an experience that aligns directly with our mission to help students overcome challenges and achieve success.
Misty’s leadership and dedication to Detroit’s youth have earned her significant recognition, including the Spirit of Detroit Award. She has also been honored internationally in North Macedonia, the Pacific Islands, and Africa, for her commitment to empowering young people and strengthening community partnerships.

Misty holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Northwood University. Born and raised in Detroit, she is married to her high school sweetheart, a proud mother of two children, and a nanny to two wonderful granddaughters. Misty enjoys cooking for her family, especially Sunday dinners, and cheering through football season each year.
