Kiera Taylor - Program Assistant
Kiera Taylor is a proud alumnus of our Workforce Prep Mentoring Program and a reflection of its mission in action. Joining the team in February 2026 marked a meaningful full-circle moment. After navigating her high school and college journey within the program, Kiera now contributes to the organization that helped shape her path. She carries her “alumni” identity with pride and considers serving the mission professionally a true honor. For Kiera, mentorship is deeply personal – an experience that transformed her confidence, direction, and career outlook.
Kiera brings a dependable, adaptable presence supported by more than five years of customer service and administrative experience. Her background helps create positive, seamless experiences for students and partners alike. A Cass Technical High School graduate, she earned her associate degree from Oakland Community College and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State in business administration with a concentration in marketing. She is passionate about helping young people access opportunities, build confidence, and envision strong futures.

Today, it drives my work as I encourage our students to persist through their own challenges, embrace the journey ahead, and stay focused on their goals.”
Detroit born and raised on the city’s West Side, Kiera has a deep appreciation for community and local support. Outside of work and studies, she channels her creativity as a self-described “makeup girly” and soon-to-be licensed esthetician. Her favorite colors, pink and green, reflect the optimism and energy she brings to her role.
