Joyce Baumann – Events Coordinator

Joyce is an experienced event planning professional, committed to and passionate about helping others. She joined our team in February 2023 as an events assistant and organizes our volunteers, plans and executes our events, and works to keep our guests happy. With more than 20 years of event planning and project management experience, Joyce has worked in corporate, academic, and social settings, and is looking forward to making her mark in the non-profit world.

“Before joining the Winning Futures team, I felt as though something was missing in my career. Over time, I realized that ‘something’ was the opportunity to make a real difference, to contribute to a cause I really believe in. I’m so happy to have found that opportunity in this organization. Winning Futures is truly making an impact on the lives of the young people in our community, and I’m honored to be a part of something so special.”

Outside of Winning Futures, Joyce can be found whipping up delicious treats for her small home-based baking business, The Gourmet Sweet Shoppe. She lives in Rochester Hills with her husband Nathan, their two sweet boys, and two cats. Joyce enjoys spending time with her family, camping, playing board games, and exploring new adventures.
