Cashmiere Jones - Match Manager

Cash is a devoted advocate for employment and educational opportunities for youth. She first joined our team in 2020 as an AmeriCorps Vista volunteer and returned in February 2025. As the match manager for our Year 4-7 (continuing education) students, Cash oversees case management, mentor-student support, workshop support for our Year 2-3 (11th -12th grade) students, and other team projects as needed.

Prior to joining our team, Cash worked professionally in risk analysis in the financial services industry while volunteering within her community as a mentor for children with incarcerated parents and family members. She hosted discussions with the youth to tackle emotional responses and biases in a proactive manner.

“As a first-generation college graduate, I know the struggles of feeling like you either have to have it all figured out or struggling because you feel as if you don’t,” said Cash. “Having a community that supports you to challenge your fears and achieve your aspirations is exactly what Winning Futures embodies.”

Cash grew up in Detroit, MI and studied Sociology at Albion College, where she also worked for a first-year mentor program, served as president for the Black Student Alliance, played on the women’s softball team, and participated in mission trips to Nicaragua and Panama. She currently resides in Waterford with her endless books. In her free time, Cash enjoys thrifting, trying new foods, and traveling when she is not studying for the LSAT or working on coursework for her master’s program.
