Stephanie Burnley-Hemphill - Director of Operations
In January 2025, Stephanie Burnley-Hemphill joined our team as director of operations, bringing her expertise in streamlining processes and boosting organizational performance. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams, and enhancing efficiency to support the organization’s impactful mission. Stephanie is excited to be part of a team dedicated to empowering young people with the tools they need to succeed in life and career.
Throughout her 17 years in the construction and automotive industry, Stephanie has gained extensive experience in leadership, project management, and business development. She worked hands-on in various roles across operations, client relations, and workforce development, ensuring successful project outcomes and sustainable growth. One of the most fulfilling parts of her career has been focused on fostering talent and mentoring the next generation of professionals. For example, Stephanie co-created a career development program for young women in construction, partnering with the Rhonda Walker Girls Foundation. This initiative not only provided valuable skills and career guidance but also aligned with our mission of preparing individuals for future success by empowering them with the tools and confidence they need to thrive in their careers. Stephanie’s passion for mentoring and giving back is a driving force in both her professional and personal life, which directly aligns with our mission to empower students for success.

Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with concentration in Management from Wayne State University. When she’s not immersed in the world of operations, you’ll find her doing something creative! “I absolutely love crafting and when I’m not crafting, I cherish my downtime with my daughter and family.”
